AT MARATEA FILM FESTIVAL SPOTLIGHT TURNED ON DIGITAL LIGHTHOUSE
Jul 27, 2015
From the 29th of July to the 2nd of August, with the gorgeous Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea in the backdrop, Digital Lighthouse will be among the protagonists of the 2015 Edition of Maratea Film Festival.
A new way of making films: these are the terms that the staff of Digital Lighthouse will use to present, in the evening of the 31st of July, the new film Studios and its modern framework for film and television production as well as post-production all exclusively made in Basilicata. The cultural event, presented this year by Hollywood actress Jo Champa, includes five evenings and a rich program of meetings, interviews, prestigious film premieres and screenings, with the participation of nationally and internationally-renowned actors and producers.
Within a permanent area, especially set up for the occasion, Digital Lighthouse, a project that was entirely designed and developed by Geocart, will show to the public and to professionals the innovative possibilities and high standards that make Digital Lighthouse be a modern film industry and an unique interlocutor for every need of artistic production. The high-tech equipment and new working methods adopted, together with the high technical and creative know-how already accrued, turn Digital Lighthouse into a new benchmark for the national and international field of Cinematography, for Digital Cinema Effects, for Broadcast as well as for Media & Entertainment sector, including Gaming and Cultural Heritage.
And all of this could only be realized in Basilicata, becoming more and more an ideal place to live, work and tell stories, even through cinema.
